Introduction to HTML // TECH 117

Hong Qu, Former UI Designer, YouTube

Tuesday, June 28th from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.

This intensive hour-long class will teach students without any web development background the key elements of HTML needed to build a basic static web page. Topics to be covered include styling HTML text, creating paragraphs and lists, inserting and manipulating images, creating forms (text input fields, buttons, and dropdown lists), and a brief introduction to styles and layouts, including an overview of how CSS integrates with HTML.

This course is designed for beginners and is absolutely recommended as a prerequisite for novice students who wish to take General Assembly courses in CSS, Javascript, or any programming languages.

Use the hashtag #gaintrohtml to ask follow-up questions and continue the conversation.
